Day 1:
reported at abt 4pm. yayy n we had students from bukit view sec who joined us for the camp! oh n i barely knew anyone from my LG (leadership group aka log). i was in lg 7! ohh n onli when i saw mr chua there den i realised hes our tchr i/c for the camp. haha no wonder our claz ppl was saying they'll go look for him at nite during the camp. mm it was quite sian la. friendship dance o.O n this pokercard game thing uhhuh. another game.. before it was dinner. aft dinner played the pokercard game again omg it was so boring. n had leaders' vision casting. wrote the qualities of a leader on mahjong paper. yupp ok la. n nite games! not bad not bad. quite fun. at least they werent realli those same old games.
washing up was rather bad. because some ppl reeaaallli dun haf the sense of urgency at all. yah it was like way past midnite la. but itz ok since shes not from jj. oh n we thought there wld b firedrill. but hehh nope! managed to slp quite well.
Day 2:
pt was alright.. rather boring. then it was ballroom dancing for Family 2 first aft breakfast! yayy. damn fun lahh!!! at 1st it was rather awkward. den it got easy. we learnt cha cha n waltz. n thanks to my partner paul! haha. we're good. actualli during the dance we'll stand in a circle wif guys inside n girls outside.. den the girls will keep moving. so uh we'll kepe changing partners. so yupp tt's more fun! n a lot of the girls were ogling at one of the male instructors. probably because he's the onli good looking one.. the rest r rather umm old. n it was nice dancing wif the instructors oso la. yupp they can lead better. oh yes. whenever anything goes wrong in a dance it's always the guy's fault hehh. cos they're supp to lead. so yupp nice.
n 1 thing tt's v v amusing. the guys love ballroom dancing a lot more than the girls. so it seems. haha cos like we just walking to another venue.. den they'll randomly go "1, 2, cha cha cha" n do the steps also. so itz damn amusing la. 1 whole big group of guys doing tt as they walk along the corridor =/
n it was archery right aft tt! 1130-230 supposedly. so yahhhh superrrr hot la. we had to sit on the track to wait for our turn oso. can see heatwaves when we look across the field. yayy anw it was so fun la! hahaha. n kristian is retarded. he purposely shoot above the board. damn hard la. it flew super far n got stuck in the field. haha. oo n my left upper arm got kinda bruised. cos my arm guard slipped down a little. so i hit myself like twice. den aft tt we tried a further distance. n we all moved back! so we got to sit in the shade. mm ya it got harder to shoot. but yupp fun fun.
oh n finally lunch at 2. n blah dunno wad group dynamics thing n uh golf! i STILL think golf is boring ok. even aft trying it out. yes. i haf nothing much to say abt it haha.
den we had archery competition among the 12 best archers! yayy all of us stayed at the grandstand to cheer them on. n there was chering competition among families too. n yayy F2 won hahaha.
then it was dinner! hmm i think the meals r rather ok la. even though someone found a millipede in his/her food. yah. n my LG ppl sit wif me v ke lian la. i always nag at them to finish their food =/ n yess there was improvement! yupp.
n then the highlight of the camp! rooftop concert! ya it was held at the ppl's development block rooftop. i had nv been there b4 lo. cos tt time cluster gathering bbq there i din go.. den aft tt rooftop was closed already.
so ya it was soooo damn nice la. actualli almost died running up the stairs to the 5th storey haha. but then within less than 5 minutes i felt high already. cos the open air atmosphere is realli nice la. n our family got super super siao bunch of guys like ernest. mm had song singing. but this time it was rather hmm irritating cos everyone was realli damn high n making lots of noise la. kinda spoilt the songs a little but still we were all v high haha. n we had ballroom dancing up at the rooftop!!! woahhh nice nice! rather messy though. cos got like uh 2 circles. n not everyone got partner.. so sometimes dance n dance den keep changing partners den will end up without partner haha. n always damn lag 1 la so esp for waltz it gets messy. cha cha is more straightforward n super fun haha. then it was more songs.. n mr leow talked n uh we all went arnd supposedly to look for 3 friends n say dunno wad to them lah haha haiya. went arnd hugging everyone anw. so dark la oso cant find haha.
den it ended already =( went down for auctioning. ya we had to bid for food n drinks for our supper wif our points tt we accumulated in our LGs. my LG won the bid for KFC.. haha n we were given a chance to take this risk.. tt is they take back all our KFC n give us a mystery prize. we din noe wad it was la but heck lah just took the risk. n yayyy it was 4 pizzas! haa much better. we got free drinks n cake frm the councillors aft tt too xD it was v funny la. there were like longans, rambutans, watermelon, bananas n durians even. hahaha. ya v cool la. got lots of other food oso haha.
the rest of the nite aft debrief was rather slack. cos iw as lucky n managed to bathe 1st. eh so slacked in the hall for damn long. den din slp well at nite.. cos jus when i was half aslp.. kristian n a few other retarded guys were laughing like crazy over on the other side across the barrier.. which was like right behind me la. n i got a stomach ache too o.O
Day 3:
firedrill omg. kena scolded again as usual but it was alright la.
had lecture aft breakfast. wah realli wanted to sleep la. mm but the lectures realli made a lot of sense. 5 Ps: positive attitude, passion, patience, play n purpose. n the love languages thing was interesting too. 5 of them as well: time, gifts, touch, words, acts of services. coool. ya all the tchrs talk talk talk.. abt 3 hrs? mm yeah.
had area cleaning aft tt. omg the toilet behind lt5 is gross la. haha. hair!!
n yess! we had ballroom dancing again!! we requested for it. it was fun cos we danced in our own families. yay.
then debrief n song singing.. hmm itz rather different la. eh n this time din cry =D haha. nothing realli sad mah.
n survey.. then ballroom dancing again!!! hahaha. nicee. this time all danced together. but v irritating la cos onli F2 learnt the more complicated version of waltz. the one wif the hesitation step n the turning. n the rest didnt learn! so uh we were all confused when we danced wif ppl of other families. haha. yupp n so we still enjoyed cha cha more hahaha.
ah n finalli break camp!!
this camp is realli v v different la. n for once itz a 3 day 2 nite camp wif no campers.. ya la we're kinda like the campers. n there were NO mass dances n ZERO water bombs were used. we used to use like around 10000 water bombs yeah? hmm. so this time round itz like dun haf those wet games.. telematch.. world of combat.. so the fun is realli different la. this camp seems more boring in comparison. but itz still v v enjoyable in a different way. im glad i got to noe a lot more ppl!! ya a lot a lot more ppl n stuff. haha n got closer to some ppl too.
i reali cherished the time up there at the rooftop ytd nite. n i miss it already. cos i dun think it'll like happen again. yeah again this is different oso la. 1st time at rooftop leh! usualli at the hall 1. wonderful.
realli super a lot of stuff learnt during this camp la abt leadership. ahh ya kinda stressful haha. but v v meaningful yupp. learnt to b more open to different n new stuff too n just enjoy anyway la ya.
now the feeling of thinking abt sch tmr realli sux. cos like we just left sch today.. spent the whole wkend there. n theres sch tmr -.-
hahaa i still love the camp n Family 2! =)
